The Women in the Trades program is an awesome opportunity to get where you want to be in the trades. I am apprenticing to be an electrician and was hired before starting my work experience. I've always wanted to work in the trades but struggled to get a job because I had no experience or background in the field. The Women in the Trades program gave me the certification to stand out and get what I want. The teachers at Academic Express are excellent and are there to help you with everything you need.

I'm so very happy that I recently attended the New Futures Workshop as it gave me the tools that I needed to revamp my resume, cover letter, improve my interview skills and it also gave me the confidence I needed when I went into my job interview.
